I’m back - and my flowers are beginning to bloom

Since the attack on my nephew Tommy, I have not been in a place emotionally to post on my blogs. But Tommy is recovering and I am beginning to return to a place of normalcy. Tommy has spoken - walked - written. It looks like he will have a full recovery and for that we all thank God.
And wondrously, in my mental absence, my flowers are beginning to bloom - and life goes on.
These irises are blooming in a bed that definitely needs work - but today I will begin working in my yard again.

My irises haven’t come into bloom yet but I hope they look as good as yours when they do.

I do hope every thing is well with you and that you’ll feel up to blogging again soon. You’ve had a horrible experience and I trust everyone is okay.

I am glad Tommy is on the recovery road. I understand how everything else seems so secondary when there is a terrible incident in the family.
The irises are amazing.
Ours are having their best year.
