This poinsettia may be my favorite
Pat and I dropped by our local Little Red Riding Hood Nursery yesterday and enjoyed their wide array of poinsettias. Here is a photo of the double red variety. I had never seen this kind before.
I remember when all poinsettias looked alike. Now there are the traditional ones, the multicolored ones and even this year the double ones. Here is a photo of the traditional ones
Christmas is a time of poinsettias and amaryllis, Christmas cactus and cymbidium orchids. It is amazing to me what the world of flowers gifts us with during this holy season of light.
