<p>Another thing that I like about hydrangeas is how really easy it is to root new plants.  Last year I just bent a couple of the stems into the soil - and by the end of the summer - voila - new plants.

I have had success with planting the florist hydrangeas outside and having them grow and bloom for many years.  Here is a photo of one of the lovely florist hydrangeas that I found at the grocery store today.  I love it that my grocery store is a source of so many beautiful plants.
