Shopping has always been an integral part of Christmas for a considerable part of the of yesteryear now. whether it is for gift or whether it is for thing for the home on Christmas the shopping spirit that is mostly led by a Christmas spirit is all together a great holiday experience.
Come holidays and we seem to be buzzing with a weird, indomitable spirit that automatically drives us to the stores no matter what the circumstances; may it be for the candles or may it be for the big electronic decorations. And the weird part is that this drive is not only experienced by the shopping crazy women but is also experiences by normal men as well. Maybe it has something to do with our constant urge to have a Christmas as great as we can have.
Shopping for your loved one is especially one of the tasks we all love, well majority of us. Whether it is to buy the Christmas gifts for them or whether it is to buy the Christmas essentials for them, that trip to the mall or the store is never a burden. In fact it is an experience that that is much awaited by many of us. The look on our loved one’s face when they open the gift and happy to find whatever that wrapper contains can be one of the most satisfying experiences.
On the other hand, shopping for the house can also be very rewarding to the mind. Everyone wants a great Christmas every year but we are always constrained by a budget. Yet we always manage to meet the needs for our Christmas in whatever little we have. May we want a big TV this year but our budget allows only 32 inch one and still we will get that 32 inch one and will be happy with it, just because its the joy of Christmas shopping that got us that TV. Maybe we are shopping for decorations and cant go all out and buy those lights which are visible from space, yet shopping for normal decorations is also rewarding since we shop for them and decorate our our home with a loved one. And the light of no bulb can even catch up to the light of decorating with a loved one. After all, isn’t that what Christmas is all about.
Rich or poor, big budget or small budget, the shopping for Christmas will always bring nothing but joy to us and our family. After all, its for our loved ones that we have formed this tradition and no matter what, when they are with us in it or we are doing it for them we will always be surrounded with the tingling spirit. Its joy to the world of the coming of Christ and for us, the joy of shopping as well.
